Physics, Chemistry and Biology labs
Science Labs
At our school, science education goes beyond textbooks. Our well-equipped and modern Science Laboratories provide students with the opportunity to explore, experiment, and understand scientific concepts through practical learning.
The school has separate laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, designed according to academic standards and safety guidelines. Under the guidance of experienced teachers, students perform experiments, record observations, and draw conclusions that strengthen their conceptual understanding.

80 multimedia computers
Computer Labs
Baba Farid Public School campus is equipped with air-conditioned computer labs housing 80 multimedia computers and audio-visual projection units for students. Internet facility is given to all students under the supervision of teachers.
Computer Applications as a subject is compulsory from Class I to VIII and optional for Class IX and above. Our curriculum includes office, multimedia and programming to enable students to cater to global requirements.
Robotics, electronics and coding
Atal Tinkering Lab
The Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) nurtures scientific temper and innovation among students. Through activities based on robotics, electronics, coding, and design thinking, students learn to solve real-world problems and develop skills aligned with future technologies.
The objectives of the Tinkering Lab are:
- To create workspaces suitable for young minds to learn innovation skills and develop ideas through hands-on activities in a flexible environment.
- To empower youth with the 21st-century skills of creativity, innovation, critical thinking, design, social and cross-cultural collaboration and ethical leadership.
- To inspire students to create innovative solutions for India’s unique challenges.
- To offer children opportunities to work with tools and equipment to understand the concepts of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).

Library
The Library is a curated collection of sources of information selected by experts on a plethora of subjects. The collection of books goes beyond 20,000. The school library subscribes to all the leading newspapers, magazines and journals in English, Hindi and Punjabi.
The library functions as a central location for all the information available through different sections, references and encyclopedias, and the librarian acts as the literary map to the resources found within it. The library opens at the same time as school. Marking, tearing and dog-earing the pages are strictly prohibited.
2D, 3D art and installations
Art Room
The art room drives each child to be curious and original in their work while they study a variety of art forms such as 2D, 3D art and installations, exploring mediums like acrylic, charcoal, water colours, dry pastels, oil pastels, pencil colouring, clay, wires and papier-mâché.
The periods in the Art Room offer each child a learning experience that teaches him or her to be a risk-taker, thinker, inquirer and a good communicator in a safe environment.
Diverse dance forms
Dance Room
The Dance Room is a vibrant space where creativity, rhythm and self-expression come alive. It provides students with a nurturing environment to explore diverse dance forms while developing confidence, discipline, coordination and teamwork. Guided by skilled mentors, our students celebrate the rich heritage of dance and cultivate a lifelong appreciation for the performing arts.
Eastern and western traditions
Music Room
The school believes in the universal ability of music to touch every heart. With a music studio equipped with the latest facilities and accompaniments, students are taught the fine nuances of music and introduced to a variety of genres in both the eastern and western traditions.
With dedicated teachers who encourage children to develop an interest, ability and flair in the musical arts, every opportunity is provided to give students a complete education in this sphere.

Farid Auditorium
The Farid Auditorium is a fully air-conditioned venue with a seating capacity of over 1,200, providing an exceptional setting for academic, cultural and community events. Equipped to host seminars, conferences, annual functions, performances and special celebrations, it gives students a distinguished platform to showcase their talents and achievements.
Outdoor games and athletics
Sports Grounds
The expansive sports grounds reflect our commitment to nurturing excellence in sports and physical fitness. Equipped to support a wide range of outdoor games and athletic activities, these well-maintained facilities help students develop strength, endurance, teamwork, leadership and sportsmanship. Younger children enjoy their own play area with swings and the ‘Farid Express’ toy train.
Separate boys’ and girls’ hostels
Baba Deep Singh Hostel
The Baba Deep Singh Hostel, situated in the school campus, was inaugurated on 12th April 1995. Boys and girls are provided a clean and hygienic environment in separate hostels with a centrally air-conditioned building, water filters and coolers, geysers, LED TV screens and, above all, a nourishing diet.
Separate entrances and exits for the boys’ and girls’ hostels ensure the security of the hostellers. Experienced wardens and caretakers provide proficient supervision and motherly care. The school runs its own mess with trained staff who cook nutritious, balanced and hygienic meals, and great stress is laid on table manners and etiquette.
