Our story
Named after Baba Farid Ji
Baba Farid Public School, named after the great Sufi Saint of the 12th century Baba Farid Ji, is a minority community, non-profit making, co-educational English Medium, partly residential, Senior Secondary institution affiliated to C.B.S.E., New Delhi.
The foundation stone of the school was laid on 26th April 1992, and its first academic session was inaugurated by His Excellency Sh. Surendra Nath, the Governor of Punjab, on 12th April 1993.
The annual function was presided over by Giani Zail Singh Ji, Former President of India, on 26th April 1994.
The school receives parental guidance and support from its Chairman Late S. Inderjit Singh Khalsa, a tireless paragon of virtue whose unceasing efforts, devotion, selfless service and matchless enthusiasm have been a valuable asset for Faridkot and for this institution.
